We love when Aunt Jen comes to town

A few more pictures from Jen's visit.  We were all going through Jen withdrawal the day after she left.  Out of the blue at dinner Miles said if he could ask for one wish it would be to have Aunt Jen back at our house because she is so fun and he missed her.
New Years yoga practice. Hello 2014!
Our New Years Eve outing. And a very appropriate movie since the theme is Sisters Before Misters :)
Tubing fun
Blurry but my FAVE!  Seriously...that tubing hill is awesome!
Books before bed
O yes...and wrestling and tickling before bed!
We miss you!

Hello 40!

40 years old!  I still feel twenty-something in my brain, so it seemed impossible that I was turning 40 last week.  I didn't trip over too much though because my life is pretty great.
The highlight of the big day was Jen being in town.  She came for a week to hang out and amazingly enough the world's worst secret keeper kept a big secret from me!  She planned a weekend getaway for just the two of us up at Sundance.  And not just any old getaway.  I'm talking total splurge, total blast, total relaxer of a getaway.  Hours of spa treatments, a beautiful cabin in the woods, fancy meals out, yoga and we topped it off with jewelry making class, so now we both have beautiful rings to remember our fun weekend with.  I am so thankful for a sister who is all heart...so generous and fun.  Thanks Jen (and Greg!) for the best surprise I've ever had in my whole life.  Love you!
Fancied up for dinner
So excited for pampering!

Very serious about her hammer and anvil work :)
