Happy day

I am loving these spring weekends, especially those where we have no agenda.  It's nice to wake up and go where the day takes us, which in today's case was the living room floor for "the wrestle game".  The kids love when Jeff lays on the floor and they pile on.  They get flipped and launched and balanced.  While they were begging for more I grabbed the camera.

We headed to the playground since the weather is so great.  We met our old neighbors there, which is always a good time.  I miss the Brookhill Drive crew.

I've spent the last year or so with bad pain in my left ankle.  I kept hoping it would get better with time, but it only got worse, so I went in for a scope and clean up.  I'm hoping it will bring me some relief.  So far so good with recovery.  Minimal pain and I'm able to get around with the help of a lovely boot cast.  Where's Jen and her bedazzler when I need her?!

My coworker hooked us up with a bag of play clothes.  It was loaded with dresses, tutus, tiaras, high heels, etc. It turned out that Miles was just as excited about the loot as Iris was. Perhaps these pictures will make for bribery material when he is16!

Easter 2013

We had a fun Easter this year.  We had friends over for brunch and a kiddie egg hunt.  It's much more enjoyable to let them hunt in the backyard with their friends instead of fighting the masses at any of the public places.  The weather was great, the company was fun and the jelly beans were plentiful!
